LEATHERFACE, CULT CLASSICS SERIES 2

Leatherface, flamboyant conductor of the nefarious Chainsaw Massacre. You gotta love this guy. Loosely based upon the kooky maniacal exploits of Ed Gein, Leatherface took an interest in taxidermy and just sort of went south with the whole thing. He wears a dead skin mask. He has a high-protein, non-vegetable diet. He screams, he throws tantrums. He likes to solve disagreements with his chainsaw. He spends alot of time in the meat-locker, waxing philosophical, playing with the tattered edges of his gore-slicked butcher's apron, waiting for the next hapless hippy, waiting for the next chick in a tube-top and cut-off shorts.

Leatherface makes a handsome figure, fat, sweaty, deformed and livid behind his rotting mask. Despite his bulk, he usually manages a surprising speed, especially once his interest is sparked. Clothes and apron are soiled with blood and filth. He knows how to run for his food. The chainsaw covers alot of ground, rounding out the edges of Leatherface's mewling, blubbering fury. The figure captures it all, every twisted cannibalistic nuance, every grunt, every scream. A perfect homage to a guy with one or two character flaws.
